Photos of my “actors”
These are some photos exploring the materiality/ manufacturing quality of the dolls I used in my narrative video. I’m really enjoying the suggestiveness of the neck of the doll, which looks extra questionable when cropped
A failed attempt at Narritve
Following my meetings with Steve I’ve started to look at narratives again. This clip also had some stop motion exposition, where the baby doll ate a cherry. Unfortunately the photos were lost before I could process them.

Oil In Water – Pink and Red
These are a selection of clips from a series of experiments where I coloured cooking oil with oil paint, and poured it into a glass of water. They were shot with a macro lens, and then cropped and/or rotated in PremirePro to remove context and focus on the materiality. I also added dishwashing detergent as an exploration of the interruption of surface.
